Countdown for the Two-day International of Vertova, one of the highlights of the international juniors calendar that Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August will bring to Val Seriana the best promises of continental cycling and beyond. In addition to teams from all over Europe, the national teams of Kazakhstan and the Mexican Monex will also start. Bergamo will be represented by four teams: Ciclistica Trevigliese, Supermercati Massì, Sc Cene, Travel&Services. In total 36 teams with 17 foreign teams, 13 nations represented and three continents.
It will be the 54th edition
As tradition dictates, the event, now in its 54th edition, will consist of two acts: the 28th Trofeo Comune di Vertova – 23rd Memorial Pietro Merelli on Saturday and the 54th Trofeo Emilio Paganessi on Sunday. The organizational direction is by Uc San Marco Vertova which again this year, thanks to the collaboration with BiciTv, will offer for both days the full live streaming of the race.

The program
Saturday race over a distance of 81.2 km (one small lap plus seven laps of 10.5 km) starting at 1 pm in via Don Ferrari, Vertova, where the finish is expected just before 3 pm. Sunday the 54th Trofeo Paganessi will start at 9 am from via Don Ferrari, finish shortly after noon in viale Rimembranze, also in Vertova. The 134 km route will touch Colzate, Ponte Nossa, Clusone, Rovetta, Fino del Monte (Gpm), Onore, Clusone, Villa d’Ogna, Piario, Ardesio, Parre, Selva, Gazzaniga and Vertova, where the circuit of 5 laps will begin Vertova, Casnigo (Gpm), Gazzaniga, Fiorano al Serio, Vertova (finish at Marmi Paganessi).
