The Bergamo native Davide Persico (Mbh Csb) returns to victory: on Tuesday, August 4th, in the Lhasa Circuit Race, a 94.8-kilometer stage, the second win of the season for the 25-year-old from Cene arrives. In the third stage of the China Xizang Trans-Himalaya, he wins at the end of a city circuit where he surpassed Italians Filippo Cettolin and Lorenzo Cataldo. For Persico, this confirms a good form after finishing second on Monday in Gongbu Jiangda. An excellent sign that this season has seen him six times on the podium: in addition to two wins (in March he won the Popolarissima in Treviso), also two second places and two third places. His personal record is enriched by a series of top 10 finishes.

We hope to achieve something important in the coming days as well.”
