Positive qualifying on Saturday, August 8 for the Italtrans Racing Team: in the Moto2 British GP trials at Silverstone, Daniel Muñoz posted the fifth fastest time. An excellent comeback for the twenty-one-year-old Spaniard, who in the crash at Assen (Netherlands), six weeks ago, suffered two fractures to his right foot and a small fracture to the head of the left humerus, missing the German GP. He immediately secured the top positions with the first useful lap: finding himself 4th at 782 thousandths from Izan Guevara, he later lost a position to Manuel Gonzalez. His teammate, Adrian Huertas, however, performed poorly, unable to pass Q1: he will start from 22nd place.
