Mattia Gianola, a 34-year-old from Lecco of Lab4you, writes his name in the men’s register of the 26 km challenge. The former Italian mountain running athlete completed the Valtaleggio Trail route with the main base in Vedeseta in 2h16’02”, managing great difficulties the attempt to catch up by Luca Arrigoni (Pegarun, 2h20’21”), while in third place another Pegarun athlete, Paolo Poli, (2h26’11”) was classified. In total, including the non-competitive category, 540 participants took part in the event which had the Gpm on Mount Sosadura (2010 meters).

Tagliaferri wins among women
In the long female race, the fastest was Arianna Tagliaferri (Premana, 2h54’31”). In the 10 km men’s race, Giovanni Malugani (49’54” Centro atleti Lizzoli) won, ahead of the two representatives of Gs Orobie Simone Oprandi (52’33”) and Ivan Gervasoni (54’33”), with Claudia Locatelli (Atl. Valle Brembana,1h01’18”) winning the 10 km female race ahead of Laura Basile (1h01’44”, Falchi Lecco) and Angela Serena (1h06’41”,Sicur Live).
