With the market men busy in the feverish final days of the summer negotiations (deadline Tuesday at 19:59), Atalanta dives back into the championship after securing qualification to the group stage of the Conference League. In the evening post-match on Monday, August 31 (kick-off at 20:45, live on Sky and Dazn), the nerazzurri await the visit of Bologna for the second day of Serie A.
Lineup: at least five battles
Considering the tight schedule and the condition still to be perfected at the start of the season, the lineup will be all to discover with battles in every department. The certainties seem to be Carnesecchi between the posts, Kossounou and Scalvini in central defense, Gaetano in midfield, Ederson as mezzala. Then probable confirmation for Raspadori in attack, while for the rest battles for the full-backs (Bernasconi-Kolasinac and Zappacosta-Bellanova), for a mezzala spot (Samardzic-Elmas-Pasalic) and in attack (Scamacca-Krstovic and De Ketelaere-Zalewski).
Definitely absent for bureaucratic reasons is the latest arrival Frank Kessie: the Ivorian cannot yet be called up and his second debut in nerazzurri is postponed to Saturday against Roma. Among the call-ups there will also be some youngsters, like Obric and Cassa.
