The countdown is now running out for the start of the third edition of Fubal, the completely free contest that allows readers of L’Eco di Bergamo to challenge themselves with their predictions on the matches played by Atalanta in every competition during the 2026/27 season. There are lots of prizes linked to different rankings, and you can win throughout the season.
This year – but it’s just one of the new features, we will tell you all about them in detail with a dedicated focus in the coming days –, the game starts with the first official match of the 2026/27 season: it starts off with a bang, since on Thursday, August 20, at the New Balance Arena, the first leg of the Conference League playoffs against Hapoel Tel-Aviv will take place.

Here’s how to play
But how do you participate? To play you need to register on fubal.ecodibergamo.it, but it’s very simple: just enter an email address and a password and choose a nickname, then you can start making predictions. Playing is very simple: you just have to enter the outcome – expressed as a win, draw or loss –, the exact score, the scorers – from this year there is also the option “no scorer,” but that’s another of the new features we will talk about soon –, the man of the match, decided by the newspaper’s ratings published the day after the match, and the number of yellow cards shown to the Nerazzurri on the field and on the bench, including coach Maurizio Sarri.

The contest is not intended to be considered a sports bet and therefore it is possible to opt for separate bets: for example, you can decide that the match can end in a draw, enter an exact score of 2-1 in favor of Atalanta, and so on.
The prizes at stake
There are many prizes: tickets to watch the matches from the pitch view at the New Balance Arena, signed jerseys, balls signed by the team, tickets for stadium tours, and shopping vouchers to use at Ovet, hypermarkets or restaurants in the province.
In this edition there are no longer the general ranking and the three special ones, but you can aim for the podiums of the first and second half rankings – two separate rankings, the first period runs from August 20 to January 10 and the second until June 5 –, and the monthly rankings.
Additionally, another new feature that we will explain in detail soon, there will be a championship – always divided between first and second half –, in which the leagues will compete, so start notifying relatives, friends, and colleagues.
Participating in Fubal is very simple, fun, and it’s also a different way to support the team in a season that promises to be long and full of commitments, between Serie A, Coppa Italia, and Conference League.
