On the partisan trails connecting Susa and Mompantero, three silver medals from Bg arrived with Andrea Elia, Vivien Bonzi, and Gabriele Licini who stood out respectively in the senior and junior races. In the men’s field, the athlete from Lecco of Asd La Recastello tried to fight with the Aosta Valley’s Henry Aymonod on the 14.5 km course with 1,630 meters of positive elevation gain, but the latter prevailed in 1h20’16” ahead of Elia by 11”.

In the women’s category, the overall victory went to Kenyan Nancy Joyce Muthoni (Atletica Saluzzo) in 1h35’42”, but it was the fight for the tricolor jersey that created even more interest: the winner was Francesca Ghelfi (Asd Podistica Valle Vairata) in 1h36’00” with Vivien Bonzi, 25 years old from Sorisole, behind her in 1h36’11”. Third was Benedetta Broggi (also from Recastello) in 1h39’05”. In the junior field, the standout was Gabriele Licini who delivered the only medal of the expedition to Atletica Valle Brembana: the 18-year-old from San Giovanni Bianco finished in 45’17” after Francesco Gianola (Premana, 44’59”).
