After 27 years, the men’s tamburello championship returns to Bergamo: the feat belongs to Dossena who in the final played on Ferragosto day defeated the Mantuan team from Ceresara with a clear 2-0. A success born from afar as the Brembani had started the season as favorites. The last act played in Torre de’ Roveri in front of over 400 spectators remained balanced only at the start of the match, then from 2-2 it was a monologue by the Brembani who sewed the championship badge on their chest with a resounding 6-3 6-0. After the victory, the celebration broke out with fans, but the season of the new Italian champions is not over: now in their sights are the Italian Cup, Supercup, and European Cup.
