The career
Born in Florence, Cristiano Giuntoli began his career as a sporting director at just 36 years old, 18 years ago. After an initial experience at Spezia, as Sporting Director he was among the architects of Carpi’s rise, which achieved four promotions in five years, moving from Serie D to its first historic participation in the Serie A championship.
«After six seasons in Emilia full of satisfaction and a winning cycle that immediately consecrated him among the best executives in the Italian football scene» Atalanta writes in a note, in Naples – starting from 2015 – he experienced another significant stage of his career, winning an Coppa Italia (2019/20 season) and the historic third Neapolitan Scudetto (2022/23 season).

He concluded his experience at Napoli as Champion of Italy to take on the role of Managing Director Football of Juventus in the summer of 2023, with whom he won the Coppa Italia in the first of his two seasons spent in Turin.
