Bergamo cycling mourns Gianni Sommariva, historic federal manager and organizer, who passed away during the night between Thursday and Friday, August 14. For years president of G.S. Domus and vice president of the Italian Cycling Federation, he was the creator in 1970 of the Bergamo Cycling Tour, which later became the Lombard Cycling Week, an international competition held until 2013. The funeral will be held on Monday, August 17 at 3 pm in the church of Sant’Anna, in Bergamo.
