New loan experience for Daniel Maldini, Atalanta forward loaned to Cagliari. The formula is a loan until June 30, 2027, with a purchase option, which can become an obligation upon the occurrence of certain conditions, in favor of the Rossoblù club.

The official statement: «Atalanta BC announces that it has transferred the sporting rights of the player Daniel Maldini to Cagliari Calcio, with a loan formula until June 30, 2027, with an option that becomes an obligation to acquire upon the occurrence of certain conditions. The Club wishes Daniel the best for this new professional experience in Serie A».
For Maldini, this is the second loan experience since he was acquired by Atalanta in January 2025: in the last six months of the previous season, he wore the Lazio jersey, coached by the current Nerazzurri coach Maurizio Sarri.
