And it’s a surprise: the Brazilian returned to Zingonia five days earlier than scheduled after his World Cup experience with the green and gold jersey. The player himself wanted it, demonstrating his desire to immediately restart in the black and blue jersey. The 27-year-old midfielder underwent athletic evaluation tests, then worked out in the gym in the afternoon.

Manchester United? No, renewal
Ederson, fresh from a summer where a bit of everything happened, can be considered almost a new signing for the midfield. By his own admission, he was indeed destined for Manchester United, who would have paid 45 million, but then came the sudden U-turn from the Red Devils after the last round of medical examinations. Atalanta subsequently secured him with a contract until June 30, 2031.
