Saturday, September 19th at La Gomera, in the Canary Islands (Spain), the general practitioner Giulia Lamberti and the management engineer Luca Arrigoni will tackle the ascents and descents of the Ultra Skymarathon at the Skyrunning World Championships.
«This call-up is a gift»
The emotion is similar, the starting point different. Giulia, a general practitioner with a practice in Clusone, is at her first world championship event after having to give up the European Championships in Montenegro three years ago. «Responding present to the call-up was a gift, it is a unique experience. The goal is to bring points to the team without getting carried away at the start».

Arrigoni, 45 years old from Costa Mezzate, is a regular at the World Championships. In the Canaries he will sign up for his eighth world championship race, after a tenth place two years ago and a silver at last year’s European Championships. «The goal is a place in the top fifteen, I will be the squire of captain Minoggio. Two aces, a common dream: to touch the sky with a finger.
