Reading time less than a minute.
Atalanta resumes training on the afternoon of Thursday, September 3 in preparation for the league match on Saturday the 5th in Rome against the Giallorossi (8:45 PM). The session comes after Wednesday’s rest day and the recovery session after Bologna the previous day. At the Bortolotti Center in Zingonia, there will also be, for the first time, Jonathan Rowe, the new English signing acquired from Bologna. Keep an eye on the situation of Thomas Kristensen, who is recovering from an ankle sprain and is working separately. The usual absentees remain Isak Hien (proximal thigh tendon injury) and Kamaldeen Sulemana (medial collateral ligament injury).
Rowe’s debut from the start cannot be ruled out, although a confirmation of Raspadori seems more likely. There is also a chance in midfield for Kessie, another newcomer, in a department where the only certainty is Ederson (Pasalic-Samardzic in contention). At the back, doubts are about the wingers: Bellanova or Zappacosta, Bernasconi or Kolasinac.
Colombo referees in Rome
Andrea Colombo from Como will be the referee for Roma-Atalanta, the match of the 3rd round of the Serie A championship scheduled for Saturday, September 5 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome at 8:45 PM; assistants Khaled Bahri from Sassari and Domenico Palermo from Bari, 4th official Giuseppe Collu from Cagliari, VAR Giacomo Camplone from Lanciano, AVAR Alberto Santoro from Messina.
