Chelsea strikes again at Atalanta. After Marco Palestra, acquired for 60 million at the start of the summer transfer window following a loan season at Cagliari, in the middle of last week the London club also closed for Honest Ahanor: 48 million, including a fixed part of about 45 plus bonuses, the price of the left-back who grew up at Genoa.
The deal is now in an advanced stage and at the final details. Ahanor, 18 years old as of last February 23, is recovering from a right thigh adductor strain suffered on August 12 during training and has not yet made official appearances for Maurizio Sarri’s team in 2026-2027.
