He has returned, for the fourth time. Tav welcomes back to Treviglio the center Jacopo Borra, who will wear the white-green jersey in the Serie B National League 2026/27 season. Born in Turin on May 9, 1990, he is a 215 cm, 115 kg center: a big man with great size, making him a player who “shifts” the category. With marked physical qualities, he is an excellent scorer in the paint, also endowed with great technique, and a great rebounder.
The three previous times
The first arrival in Treviglio was in the summer of 2010, with the departure two seasons later. The 2013/14 Dna Silver championship saw him split between Omegna (21 games) and Treviglio, where he returned in the second half of the season, scoring 11 times. In 2016/2017, at Andrea Costa Imola, he was forced to stop due to a back injury: the restart after surgery again passed through Treviglio (2017/18), although the post-surgery year was inconclusive, with only 12 games played. In the following three years, he reached definitive maturity: 101 games with 10.2 points and 8.7 rebounds, playing an average of 27 minutes per game. Otherwise, Borra collected important experiences at Pistoia, Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto, Roseto, Sassari (Serie A), Fortitudo Bologna (his alma mater), Nardò, Latina, and Ruvo di Puglia. And for the fourth time in Treviglio, we are in the present day.

Available after suspension
Borra will be available to coach Giacomo Cardelli starting from the fifth matchday, when he will have finished serving the suspension imposed following the expulsion in the recent playouts, when he hit Aristide Landi hard, an episode that caused a “stir” and for which Jacopo apologized (among other things, he is subject to a Daspo from the Teramo police headquarters that forbids him from attending national basketball events for one year).
