As the World Cup approaches its climax, for the Nerazzurri fans, eyes are already on the next season. With the closing, Thursday, July 16, of the second phase of the 2026/27 season ticket campaign, almost 14,000 tickets have been assigned, over 90% of those available, among the pre-emptions for seat confirmation and the priority of those who chose to change seat or sector.

Now it’s time for the free sale, open Saturday, July 18 at 10 am, which puts «up for grabs» the last approximately 1300 season tickets. To grab them, most fans started staking out in front of the New Balance Arena, on the stands of the north curve, already yesterday. A first big party for the Atalanta fans who, fully equipped, were preparing yesterday evening to face the night outdoors. Many chairs, some tents, plenty of food, beers needless to say, and citronella candles against mosquitoes: the gear of those who are not new to this game. And indeed many confirm: «For us it’s a tradition, in our group almost all of us are already season ticket holders, but we are here to keep company to friends, to support each other».

Some have taken shifts
Even among those who had to wait for the free sale, most are not here to subscribe for the first time. Those who had to pause for work, those for other reasons, often continuing to follow the team around Europe, buying tickets each time. This is the case of a group from Bonate Sotto and Sopra, in pole position since Wednesday. «We are eight – say Alessandro and Andrea, the two chosen for the last night shift –, we took turns based on work and tomorrow morning we will be ready, then to Clusone for the training camp».
A first «away game», some call it, which shows great confidence in the possibilities of the Goddess: «Because if you don’t have it, you can stay at home».
