Gold, silver, and bronze. Rachele Amighetti achieves her personal podium at the European Clay Pigeon Shooting Championships, signing a superb triple in the Universal Trap in Valencia.
Team triumph
The shooter from Costa Volpino signs the blue team’s triumph, with Bianca Revello, winner of the individual event, and Stefania Oliva, sixth, and takes the satisfaction of conquering second place in the European Cup, combining the score from the continental event with previous international GPs.
Podium comeback
But Rachele’s feat is the bronze in the individual Lady event, achieved thanks to the comeback on the last day with the rise from fourth to third place. Amighetti climbs the podium with 183 targets behind the blue Revello and the Spanish Clemente del Cerro. “I am satisfied both personally, because these Europeans confirm me at a high level, and especially at the team level, the real goal of our participation,” explained Rachele.
Milesi ok
Good performance also among the Open category by Sara Milesi: the shooter from Borgo di Terzo finished with 169 (out of 200), confirming herself as a rising star internationally.
